@TRAPJNR @ashrobin pump has paid out -~500M in creator rewards to users of the platform, about 140M in Q3 of this year, this is direct cash to users theyve also spent ~450M of their revenue on buying back + burning the token this is nearly 1B in value given back to their ecosys
this is objectively mispriced by a very unreasonable margin
$PUMP did 5x from bottom, consolidated during constant attacks from other launchpads + unlocks, keeping revenue steady, had 3mln revenue yesterday, OI at same levels from when it was 3x lower, saw only few posts on TL and chart looks like it’s about to go to ATH next month
will make a new ATH in less than 30 days, you've had a month to position after missing the bottom, & somehow the trade got even more non-consensus during that timeframe
i’m pretty bullish on NFTs making a real comeback this cycle art NFTs can have another run, but i’m more interested in how much experimentation happens around the format itself agents, ownership, new launch mechanics and different ways to connect NFTs with onchain products all open up fresh design space we’re still early in the broader onchain rotation, so i expect people to get a lot more creative with NFTs from here
i see NFTs finding a new role as more businesses and financial assets move onchain tokenized stocks, RWAs and stablecoins are creating new infrastructure, and NFTs can become another layer around ownership, access and community the NFT + fungible token hybrid idea has already been tested before without really taking off the concept is worth revisiting though: liquid tokens for broad participation, with NFTs representing a more specialized tier of ownership or benefits that feels like a more interesting direction for NFTs this cycle
@TylerDurden @charliefx_ ct class of the 2010s will outrank livermore when it's all said and done
@ConverseSibuyi @postedgo this was one of my first trading journals i started with like $100 9 years ago
@postedgo most people don't have the patience nor foresight to hold coins to multi-billions from launch, but we've done this for multiple cycles in a row now, this time will be no different :) glad to have you along for the ride brudda
i’m looking at SOL through a much longer time horizon than current revenue if crypto keeps moving capital and assets onchain, the L1s that become core infrastructure should be valued around the activity they could support over decades Solana today only has a small number of applications generating serious revenue the upside case comes from what happens if that becomes hundreds or thousands of successful businesses built onchain for me, that future activity matters more than a snapshot of L1 economics today
i’m treating this cycle on its own terms previous major BTC bear markets took roughly a year to find their lows and drew down 75%+ from the top this time, the deepest drawdown so far has been closer to 53%, followed by a much earlier recovery in price the market structure has changed too, with new ways for institutions and retail to enter crypto and move onchain memory mapping every move to 2018 or 2022 feels less useful when the setup itself has changed
i view dedicated social trading apps keeping their edge even if X eventually brings trading directly into the timeline X serves too many different use cases, while these apps are designed around discovering trades and acting on them quickly the callout model takes that a step further by connecting attention directly to trading volume if creators can earn from the volume their posts generate, that creates a pretty powerful loop between content, distribution and trading
Market Bubble ep.21: my full conversation 0:00 - CASHCAT, Stonk and the launchpad race 11:04 - Tokenized stocks and the next onchain trade 22:43 - NFTs, memes and finding 100x trades 43:01 - Meta, ansem(io) and crypto security 54:58 - Bitcoin, Hyperliquid, AI mining and Ethena
Ansem reveals the two things Solana needs to return to peak 2024 onchain mania “A lot of what drove the Solana memecoin supercycle was SOL getting re-rated from $15 to nearly $200, alongside airdrops from protocols like Jito and Jupiter.” “There was new money coming from retail
tokenized stocks.
crypto is very good at enabling speculation, part of this speculation is the tokenization of any thought, idea, or asset - whether an existing company or something more ephemeral in this process of creating tokens, there is a lot of trading volume, many platforms like @Pumpfun &

@Limited82885182 @TRAPJNR if you believed the game was rigged you would not be buying 20k mcap coins you are buying them because they are low enough mcap that its attractive to you because you want to hit a 10,000x the same design that makes these coins attractive for you to buy is the same design that incentivizes deployers to create the coins and bundle them you cannot separate the two they are completely interlinked if you really believed the game was rigged you would simply not trade new pairs and wait for coins to establish themselves at higher market caps or you would just buy stocks
@TRAPJNR if you cant see why deployers need to be incentivized because the app cannot exist without them, & how 50% of revenues buying+burning the token benefits everyone in the ecosystem, then yes we can agree to disagree

@Limited82885182 @TRAPJNR deployers of coins are favored because the app cannot exist without them multiwalleting will continue as long as its the most profitable way to play the game you are trading memecoins whose value is derived purely from attention & start at $0, these are the highest risk assets that you can buy, they are not ever going to have a high success rate, would not make sense if they did pump makes money pre-bond yes, but the majority of creator rewards happen post-bond, deployers are incentivized to successfully launch coins that sustain higher market caps if it was not good for retention then they would have have made 2B+ in revenue since inception with sustained daily ac…
