CZ says it's never too late to build a successful company “I started Binance when I was 40. I'm 48 now. I spent the first 17 years of my career doing different things. I was a good coder, a good developer and I became a manager in a large organization” “There's a misconception that all founders are very young. The average founders are actually quite old, like 40-plus” “It also takes quite a number of failures to become successful. Doing startups and all these new things is really hard” “You want to try things as early as possible but you also want to manage your risk. You can fail but you want to be able to bounce back” “Don't be overly desperate or eager. We've seen founders fail because t…

CZ shares what going to jail taught him about life “When I was in jail, I was thinking about what's important. Jail actually really clears your mind. You figure out number one, health is really important. If you're not healthy, then nothing matters” “In jail you don't have very good access to doctors…” “You've got to eat healthy and sleep well. Luckily, you've got nothing else to do. Then you think, what do you miss the most? Everything's taken away from you. You miss your family, you miss the people. It's the human connection that you miss” “After that, everything else is secondary. I missed the food, I missed the comfortable bed but you can deal with that”

Logan Paul proves he knows nothing about stocks after confusing the NASDAQ with the NYSE “I don't own stocks. This is proof I don't know what I'm talking about” “You know what I do know what I'm talking about though? Collectibles baby”

Threadguy explains why $META is in a tough spot “Their core business rocks and they print money and they're worth $1.5T but to get to $5T, to compete with the top three companies in the world, they need something else” “Zuck has gone after the metaverse stuff. That hasn't gone well. He's gone after the AR/VR. It's done fine. He thought metaverse was gonna be huge for COVID. That was obviously a miss” “They went after open-source AI. They kind of gave up. I don't know if you could call it a failure but they're in this weird spot where they have all of this compute. They don't really know what to do with it” “They are historically incredible at acquisitions, Instagram and WhatsApp but their A…

Threadguy explains why your body reacts to a big trade like it's going into battle “The hour between dog and wolf is this concept of ancient Roman gladiators. Right before they would go into battle or an NBA player or a quarterback, right before you go into battle, your body transforms” “Your heart rate picks up, your testosterone literally boosts, your blood pressure starts dialing, it courses through your veins and you start to like, your body completely transforms and prepares you for battle. Like, you have like a physical transformation that happens to you when you're about to go into battle, your adrenaline starts, your heartbeat, like, it's like ready for war, right? It tenses your bo…

Eddie Murphy reveals he was offered the role Chris Tucker played in Rush Hour Speedy: “Is it true that you were once offered the role Chris Tucker played in Rush Hour?” Eddie Murphy: “Yes” “Did I say Holy Man is one of my worst movies? That's the movie I did instead of Rush Hour. They came to me and it was two scripts. It was Rush Hour and it's gonna be an action comedy with Jackie Chan... and this other one was me in a robe in Miami” “I was like, ‘Man…This is a no-brainer.’ We went to Miami and made a horrendous film”
