@jeetassassin I agree. But, there are plenty of creative ways to punish people for sniping launches without making the entire trading experience worse for everyone else. Look at Robinhood coins or Believe’s approach. Neither system eliminated sniping completely, but both made it far less profitable and punished the people abusing launches without draining normal traders through endless fee modes. You do not need to stop every sniper. You just need to make sniping expensive.

People wonder if/when retail will come back to memecoins... But we are not even in a position that is friendly toward new traders. I’ve asked over 50 new traders what holds them back, and the answer is almost always VAMPS. There are too many fee modes and too much complexity for someone entering the market for the first time. Most of these problems could be solved by removing the modes entirely (including USDC). There should be one mode: creator fees.
