@ieatjeets This narrative is tiresome Even if we wanted to promote PVP (which does NOT increase revenue in the way people assume it does), it absolutely is bad for business long term. Given our extremely ambitious targets, focusing on sloppy short term revenue would do nothing for us The way pump fun 10x's as a platform is for runners to run and for users to have the best experience possible - PVP is the antithesis to that

more on Thursday’s Custom Pairs update: we've already seen a few cases where an established memecoin that's been stagnant for a while gets a second wind thanks to new coins being paired with it we’ve seen this play out for years: a new token launches, defines a meta, only to slow bleed once all catalysts are exhausted. now, custom pairs are a second chance, and in some cases, a new life. furthermore, if the token spawns a small ecosystem of paired tokens, its vampability decreases significantly; vamping an ecosystem of tokens which all contribute to the main runner is much harder than a strong token on its own I look forward to seeing this play out on a larger scale!

We're rolling out a few big changes to the Callout Rewards program over the coming days, starting with today's payout. Here's what to expect: - Callouts on lowcap tokens will be nerfed. We want callouts to incentivize larger wealth effects that affect more people, rather than only benefiting a small group of sophisticated traders - Volume will cease to be the main attributer for rewards. The focus will be on what matters most: whether the people that trusted your callout were able to make money or not. Going forward, your goal should be to lead your followers to victory, otherwise your chances of consistently earning are SIGNIFICANTLY lower. Win as a team —> win as an individual.

@guccitos77 this is the table that went viral, which was manipulated in such a way that Callout Rewards appear to incentivize bad callers any positive changes we make to the algorithm have a lagging effect, thus finding negative optics will always be an easy angle for fudders the reality remains that good actors get rewarded the most on Pumpfun, and we will not stop until rewards are aligned 1:1 with the best callers.
