CEA Industries was originally a small-cap Nasdaq-listed company under the ticker VAPE. Its business included controlled-environment agriculture. It later acquired Canadian e-cigarette retailer Fat Panda, entering the nicotine vape business. In July–August 2025, the company announced a strategic transformation: instead of focusing primarily on e-cigarettes, it would build the largest BNB corporate treasury in the public markets. It completed around $500M in PIPE financing (led by 10X Capital and YZi Labs, which is associated with CZ, with a potential size of up to $1.25B), changed its ticker from VAPE to BNC, and continued accumulating BNB. It currently holds around 515,544 BNB. The market therefore started calling it the “MicroStrategy of BNB.” BNC4 is an on-chain tokenized stock pegged 1:1 to CEA Industries’ common stock. Users subscribe with stablecoins, the platform purchases the real stock, and then mints the tokens. It can trade 24/7 on BNB Chain, and has also become the underlying pool asset for subsequent Memes.
